Janelle Webb, M.A.T.
DCA® Certified ADR Divorce Coach
Let’s be honest: I never thought I would get a divorce. And you may be feeling the same way. I also was frozen in fear and delayed and endured way more than I should have before I got to that point. Yet, akin to being catapulted into an unfamiliar galaxy, I found myself there. I was heartbroken, overwhelmed, and terrified. I don’t want to diminish the colossal effort it took to emerge from the depths of my lowest moments during that time. And it’s essential to note that I didn’t handle everything flawlessly or achieve every desired outcome (spoiler alert: no one does in divorce). Nonetheless, my own experiences ignited a transformation and determined, I armed myself with the indispensable knowledge, tools, and mindset necessary for progression. My attorney noticed, and it was during the culmination of my divorce that she suggested I explore Divorce Coaching to help others. That suggestion deeply resonated within me, compelling me towards a newfound purpose.
Today, equipped with an ADRDC certification, lifelong passion for and Master’s Degree in Education, and deeply rooted empathy from my own personal experiences, I am devoted to supporting and guiding others through their divorce journey. My personal approach to Divorce Coaching is “where education meets empathy”, and I am here to provide valuable information, insight, essential skills, accountability, and the vital element of unwavering support. It is said that divorce is the second most stressful life event, following the death of a spouse, and I need you to know that you do not need to navigate this challenging terrain alone.
